AIM Industries is an in-school, student-run manufacturing laboratory for Platinum level students that operates in partnership with local companies. The Goal of AIM Industries is to address the skills gap in the advanced manufacturing field by engaging students in a meaningful education. The in-school laboratory will expose students to the potential of manufacturing related careers, while at the same time putting to use their technical skills and teaching them professionalism that employers desire.

What is the AIM Lab?

AIM Industries is an in-school, student-run manufacturing laboratory for Platinum level students that operates in partnership with local companies. The Goal of AIM Industries is to address the skills gap in the advanced manufacturing field by engaging students in a meaningful education. The in-school laboratory will expose students to the potential of manufacturing related careers, while at the same time putting to use their technical skills and teaching them professionalism that employers desire.

General Information

  • Lessons can last between 30-40 minutes and are easily adaptable to the needs of students.
  • There are multiple lessons in each cluster to choose from
  • Interactive challenges are designed for students to work in pairs or small groups
  • AIM Mobile Lab Activities can accommodate 12-15 students depending on activity
  • Classroom-to-World Challenge activities utilizing hardware resources, innovative educational trainers and zSpace (Virtual reality technology)
