Public Safety
This course includes the national standard objectives for the paramedic profession. There will be 500 hours in the classroom, 450 hours clinical rotation including externship with area Life Squads. Vanguard-Sentinel Career Center gained a 5 year continuing accreditation from CoAEMSP and CAAHEP which permits our students to test National Registry. The Vanguard-Sentinel Career Center’s Paramedic course is fully accredited by the ODPS Division of EMS and CoAEMSP.
Learn: Education necessary for conduct as a Paramedic in the State of Ohio including knowledge to achieve competency, clinical behaviors and judgement as an entry-level paramedic and skill-level competency.
Hours: Total 950 hours – 500 classroom hours and 450 externship hours including capstone
