We offer adult education programs in three industries. Explore our career areas below and explore which program best suits you.

Public Safety

This course includes the national standard objectives for the paramedic profession. The VSCTC paramedic course is fully accredited by the ODPS Division of EMS.

Miscellaneous Programs

If a 900+ credit hour program is more than you’re looking for, we’ve got you covered. Our short-term certificates and adult diploma programs are offered to help students achieve their educational goals quickly and efficiently. In addition, employers can use Ohio TechCred to build a stronger workforce with VSCTC training, giving employees the skills they need to perform their best.

Our six, short-term programs are available to earn industry credentials, improve your current skill set for your career, or learn new skills.

Aspire

A grant-funded program, Aspire is free for adults who need to sharpen their skills in preparation for the high school equivalence test or to prepare for college or a career. Online learning opportunities are available.

Ohio’s Options

Designed for adults aged 18 and above without a high school diploma, this program offers an opportunity to earn a local diploma through online credit recovery courses and state testing. Alternatively, participants can pursue industry credentials while obtaining a state-issued diploma.

Customized Training

Attention Employers: as an Ohio TechCred partner, we help you prepare current or future employees with technology-focused credentials.

ESOL Classes

English language classes for speakers of other languages help adults improve speaking, listening, reading, and writing classes. ESOL classes also prepare students for citizenship and naturalization.

As a way to provide more flexibility to our adult education students, VSCTC is proud to offer financial aid and online learning for some courses.

Financial Aid

Financial assistance is available to help those who qualify pay for tuition, books, tools, supplies, and other educational expenses. Students will need tax and income documentation when applying.
