What is the AIM Lab?

The goal of the AIM Lab is to introduce K-5 students in the VSCTC district to in-demand careers by allowing them to explore Career Technical Education (CTE). The AIM Lab provides a variety of resources including interactive, challenging and comprehensive activities, hardware and trainers to give younger students a foundation in a wide range of careers in the following clusters. Our educational partners in the VSCTC districts are invited to explore below to discover resources available to them to complement their lessons.

General Information

  • Lessons can last between 30-40 minutes and are easily adaptable to the needs of students.
  • There are multiple lessons in each cluster to choose from
  • Interactive challenges are designed for students to work in pairs or small groups
  • AIM Mobile Lab Activities can accommodate 12-15 students depending on activity
  • Classroom-to-World Challenge activities utilizing hardware resources, innovative educational trainers and zSpace (Virtual reality technology)

Who Can Use the AIM Lab?

  • Elementary Schools throughout our school district
  • Business Partners looking to promote careers and opportunities in our Program areas.
