Community Service is an important component of the culture for Vanguard Sentinel Career & Technology Centers. Both staff and students are encouraged to complete community service projects and volunteer in the communities we serve. As a result, we are involved in many projects throughout the year. Examples include providing services to veterans, helping to clean up local drug houses and public spaces, building sheds, playhouses and landscaping areas for local organizations, Christmas in a shoebox to nursing home residents, a community garden and so much more!
We also participate in both the Sandusky and Seneca County Manufacturing Showcase events where Career Technical Education is promoted and local career opportunities are shared with Freshman students from all of our associate schools. Check out the event videos below.
