Welding & Metal Fabrication

Students will learn basic welding and metal cutting procedures, develop the foundation and fundamentals of metal forming, learn and apply the basics of metal fabrication, use technical knowledge of related welding and fabrication processes, develop workplace character education and work ethics and develop proficiency in blueprint interpretation.

  • Cutting with OFC, OFC-M, PAC, CAC-A, & PAC TABLE
  • Cutting with OFC, OFC-M, PAC, CAC-A, & PAC TABLE
  • Use of Roll Former, Break Press, Ironworking, and Other Trade Common Machinery
  • Blueprint Interpretation, Welding Symbol Interpretation
  • Use of Hand Tools Common to the Trade
  • Fitting Assemblies to the Print
  • Technical Knowledge of Processes

  • AWS Level 1
  • OSHA 10-Hour
  • First Aid/CPR
  • NCCER Core and Level 1
